@beardalaxy I listened to his autobiography recently. he said Dragon's Lair was funded by a rich guy who showed up at his studio one day with a bag of cash. the rich guy dressed like he was homeless and drove a beat up car so no one would know he was rich.
@noyoushutthefuckupdad i'm very glad to have been able to play dragon's lair at the absolute best moment in time to play it. it seems like a game that would absolutely destroy your quarters at the arcade but my second cousin had it on DVD. you could control the game with the directional buttons and the select button on the player remote! it had way more lenient timing and unlimited continues. every time i went over to his house i played the hell out of that game to the point where he just gave it to me lol.
