I replaced my AV receiver. The new one has HDMI:senko_wow2:. However, my gooksung monitor doesn't play with it well because its standby mode is too aggressive. I have to press the menu/confirm/power button, wait a couple of seconds before it actually turns on, enter the settings menu, and wait a while for it to detect the signal. Otherwise the gooksung monitor exits standby mode by itself, but reactivates it too soon, only to exit it again, and so on.
Also, it appears that it can't tell no signal from silence for HDMI audio, so after a while of silence it will have a delay before it will sound again, which is retarded because it had to know the sampling rate and format somehow.
