People have been freaking out about Google making it so you can't sideload apps on Android anymore, except.... You totally can? You just gotta click a few buttons, wait a day, and bada bing bada boom. Back to being able to sideload. This is why I don't trust anything on the internet anymore man, even from people I generally like. I bet half of you fuckers still think every Switch 2 game is a game key card.
@beardalaxy Devs have to confirm their identities and then, Google has to approve that ID verification. Plenty have had a lot of trouble with this and you can imagine that any people or countries on the US shit list will not be able to be verified or will be de-verified.

@beardalaxy this was a compromise after people complained. They initially intended to totally break it and with this they've gotten closer than they were before. De Facto, third party stores and applications now have to convince their users to click away ten scare warnings and wait a whole day just to install Fortnite. This is intended to, and will, hurt competition to force people onto their ecosystem.

@beardalaxy They were originally making it to be adb-only (I.E. non-normie only) to functionally restrict the entire ecosystem while technically maintaining it free
