The people who won't code a Mario Kart Wii PC port from scratch are complaining that somebody else is doing it with AI instead.
Porting over a game to PC that can already be emulated for free, for free, is probably the least egregious use of AI imaginable. I welcome AI ports with open arms, provided they don't suck. But people are acting like it will suck BECAUSE it is using AI. Crazy thing... Human made code can suck too. I know. Wild.

the "open slopware" site is literally everything at this point besides some old version which has like 4 million exploits or will eventually
@sendpaws @beardalaxy i wonder what'll happen to that list once more and more recognized figures use AI and there's no base systems for them to move to (not to mention many other things aren't as friendly as linux). I assume they'll just get super sad.
