Nier Gestalt is okay but it suffers the typical Yoko Taro self-indulgence, ESPECIALLY with the endings. And same for Nier Automata. It's my main problem with him, overall, but it's also what makes him a singular game director.
Drakengard 3 is great. Great characters. Minimal bullshit. Really solid pacing (which is a miracle).
Nier Automata is pretty good in general (better than Gestalt/Replicant) largely due to Platinum handling the game feel, but it meanders a bit too often in various parts (the novel sections, the post exile city section) and, per usual, a pretty unsatisfying set of endings and I don't like shota-types.

I need to put some more time into Stellar Blade. I think I started it and a new PoE2 league started up so I dropped it. I liked the violence against women but the story was very slow to grab me.
