Leyley is just a ride or die goth waifu who would kill both you or a bitch who looked at you. The sister part is just a meme, but to have a woman love you that purely is abnormal even in the best of times. Any man would level a nation for a crumb of her faithfulness.
There's a certain longterm intimacy that undercuts it though, hence my childhood friend comparison. Part of the relationship is that they've known eachother for a very very long time, and didn't meet recently, or even within the last 10 years
