@Nimbius666 Everything comes with a price, and there's no avoiding it.
When it comes to all things "socialized", you will still pay, but in other ways.

Those apartments you got, you shared with several other people.
You had to wait years to get them, assuming some bureaucrat decided you qualified.

And let's not forget the food, or rather the lack of it.

Communism is evil that appeals only to weak minded homos that will burn in hell forever.

@coded_artist comrade this is true. Brezhnevkas are an evolution of the socialist housing solution proposed by and built by the party in service of the people under the primary stage of socialism.

What I feel you're forgetting is Russia was largely agrarian under the tsar. The waits, shared spaces, and communal kitchens were all hallmarks of a rapid plan of development that sought to uplift millions of peasants and proletariat as quickly as possible after a brutal world war. Elevators skipped floors to save cost for example because priority was given to housing the people by any means necessary.

Brezhnevkas of the 70s were an evolution, much better construction and individual kitchens, however by the time of Khrushchev the union was also bankrupting itself fighting imperialist saber rattling and the delays persisted.

Never forget that lenin and Stalin took a land of cows and kasha and turned it into an aerospace superpower in a quarter of the time the usa managed to pull this together. The bloc housing incorporated dentists, doctors, supermarkets, and everything a soviet could want without the need for a car.

The point of the comic is that This is something the usa maintains as a gilded luxury, but the soviets had for sixty years.

The end of your post, a personal attack, does irreparable harm to the thesis of your argument and sentiment. Less than noise it never was.

@Nimbius666 Technological advancement is not the product of ideology, but of the quality of people in a nation.
Case and point: any nation in Africa.

Everything that the Russian people made, they did despite of their government, and not thanks to it.
And would have faired far better without the rise of communism.

Also. It wasn't a personal attack, unless you're a communist.
Those who embrace and promote evil are themselves evil.
No two ways about that.
