@coded_artist yep, I worked at an airport many years ago. The indian women always requested a wheelchair when they flew in, and then they would get up and ignore you when they got through customs and out to the baggage claim. Their luggage reeked like curry and left the odor on my hands. Everyone else actually needed help and usually tipped but the indian visa moms were entitled as hell. Under the ADA, the airlines cannot ask why you need a wheelchair. However, they are also required to provide someone to accompany you to the gate if you ask, this is usually done for minors, but they are too lazy to walk so they ask for the full wheelchair taxi.
@coded_artist Also sometimes they would deboard early and just walk right by the wheelchairs, there were always at least a couple people left with an empty chair in the jetway and an empty plane
