@Arkana @Goalkeeper This is what's called "shame culture" vs the "guilt culture" of the west.

When you value honor over justice, that which keeps you acting morally comes from outside, so if you're not caught and shamed for it, it's all good.

This is one thing I can never agree with internet Nazis about: Japs aren't honorary Aryans, they value honor over justice, and can (did at times) devolve into bug-men, like their Chinese neighbors.
