The nice part about a mechanical keyboard isn't the clicking sounds, or the LED lights.
It's the n-key rollover.

Every key is checked individually, so you can press as many as you want and in any order, and it will all work.

Regular keyboards use a cheaper grid method to detect key presses, so if you hold down several keys together some key presses will not be detected.
Like if you're moving diagonally in an fps, and then try to reload... Nothing happens.
Or when, as a kid, playing 2 player beat em ups with my friends, on one keyboard, sometimes one of your keys wouldn't work.
If you know, you know.

Also makes some games impossible to play on a standard keyboard, like katamari.
Which I am now playing.

Thank you for reading my post.
Have a good day.
