There's no way for them to rebuild them nice.
- The skilled white men who built it no longer exist.
- Culturally in modern times practicality and standardized constructions are the norm (like in communism).
- For every project, the cheapest offer always win. Therefore they are unable to use the expensive and refined materials required to rebuild it.

• The men are there, but no one is hiring them, you can see them doing DIY projects on YouTube.
• Culturally people don't like it, that's why memes like this spread as well as they do, it's an intentional betrayal.
• When it's more expensive, but aligns with the will of the government, it is built regardless.
It's not cynicism or cultural change, it's treason.
