when I was flying to LA for a HEMA tournament I had lug around a giant golf case on wheels that could fit my sword and all my gear. It was so oversized that I had several people stop to guess what was inside. Some thought I was a musician and asked what instrument I played, which was a good guess. But i’ll never forget while I was in the luggage check-in line this old lady who asked me with a straight face if there was a dead body in there 💀
