Sounds a lot like what Milei did here.
There were billions of taxpayer money sent to left wing activists in various organisations to use to house the poor, feed the hungry, &c; but in reality, most of these funds were unaccounted for and the public projects they were supposed to carry out never existed or barely started.
Perhaps we’re all richer than we think. It’s just a lot of that money is being wasted on useless causes that line leftist pockets.
