@graf It's worse than that actually.
Thanks to lack of any regulation on the market, there is no standard on what a fruit or vegetable actually is.
This results in a selective breeding process that favors larger, prettier, (and sweeter in the case of fruit) crops.
Markets, in other words Normies, are driving the evolution of crops in developed nations, which results in decline in nutrients since that is not what's being selected for.
Even the most fertile soil can't grow the fruits your grandparents ate, those don't exist anymore.
