Popsicles were a rare treat. Not something you'd take outside with you in the heat of the day. She didn't what to traumatize them with the garden hose I guess.

But you usually kept some coins around for the snow cone man who came around late in the day on a Cushman 3 wheel scooter & you'd get a rainbow flavor mixed cone w/5-7 kinds of juice. Sometimes eating it while riding your bike in traffic too.
