A man in Texas shared a video saying local police came to his home to question him over posts critical of Israel.

@PalePimp @buttered_poasties @Terry @William_The_Dragonborn Not a single war you say?
France might disagree.

Bombing power-plants and factories is a common and reliable strategy.
Less so now, because the factories for most countries are all in China, and you don't want WW3 on your hands.

In some cases, you do it to your own assets to deny the enemy, i.e. scorched earth strategy.
Assuming of course you have assets the enemy wants.

Also, I never said "at random", logistics aren't random.
But since you mention it, random acts of violence is called terrorism, and can be used to demoralize the enemy if sustained and combined with other tactics.
Get your agents / subversives / opposition in the enemy country blame the ruling government for their failures to protect public spaces.
Political turmoil is wasteful and destabilizing.

But massive blowback never seems to stop the neocons:

Robert Kagan and his wife Victoria Nuland always favor more US meddling and aggression, especially for Israel.
Saw this elsewhere. Fan paid $80 for a picture with the Jean Grey actress and was told that he couldn't get close to her 😭

Reminded me of the time I took a picture with Summer Glau. I grabbed her and yanked her close. Girl must have been <90 lbs because she felt fragile and I pulled her with little force, but felt like I would break her.
How was I supposed to know? They always have her beating up grown ass men on TV.
And that is that. From now on any future titles coming out from this company will be completely ignored.

There is an old Czech racist joke that goes like this: "Why are there no gypsies in Star Trek? Because it takes place in the future."

Actually, this joke is factually incorrect because there are gypsies in Star Trek (TNG, series 3, episode 6, he even plays csardas on his violin):
