I started Red Dead Redemption 2 last week and the gayness is finally overwhelming. I was able to tolerate the shitty mission design and the MORE boring than ever grind (you have to slowly stalk a bunch of dumb animals just to be able to carry more shit) mainly because the top mod on nexus (I know, nexus is also gay) is a trainer that just lets you cheat every part of the game humanly possible.

But the previous mission I did was "help black guy rob evil southerners who somehow have a ton of money from selling weapons which is blatantly impossible," but they even manage to throw in dialogue during the ride there where the black guy explains that microaggressions ("a glance here, a muttered word there") are literal violence ("then suddenly they cut your throat in the night") caked with tons of YOUR character constantly praising and validating black guy before, during, and after the mission for how "great" he was during the whole thing.

And then the VERY NEXT mission is "help suffragettes parade through a town full of horrible bigots" where you are constantly insulting those awful bigots for being intolerant. No hatcheting business windows, no white feathers, just "women should be able to vote."

GTA3 ends with you shooting your mouthy girlfriend in the face. GTA SA ends with "the LA riots were bad." Even the first Red Dead's ultimate message was "the federal government will Ruby Ridge you any time they feel like it and you can't do anything about it."

I knew it was over by GTA4, and especially by GTA5's "Mexicans are coming here for a better life," but they have clearly lost the plot. The games used to be at least sarcastic to both the left and right just as a goof because you weren't supposed to take the games seriously.

I haven't even gone into how the actual gameplay of RDR2 sucks.

They're charging $100 for GTA6 and I'm not refusing to buy it because it's woke or it's too expensive. I'm refusing to buy it because it will be a bad game, and it's not prophetic to know that. The people making it deserve to be extirpated to a degree that even the youtubers you're going to see hating it should also be murdered unironically in real life not in minecraft, because they're part of the promotion for the game. If you're really against games like this, you should never talk about them at all, and ONLY play them several years after they've been out.

They want just roll back the clock 30 years to where it was subtler
