I've worked in public service in the past and what i found most interesting about workplace politics there is that people who are right wing can recognise government bloat and will generally denounce it even as part of the bloated system, whereas left wingers nearly always explain away bloat, inefficiency and unaccountability as being features, not bugs.

I've had this conversation with my libtard friend (who works public service) and his response isn't even defensiveness or dismissiveness, he just straight up doesnt understand the point of decrying public sector inefficency. Fundamental inability to recognise what the fuck i'm talking about. Like trying to explain gravity to a dog.
