So there's the famous knife scene in Aliens where Lance Henriksen stabs a knife systematically between the fingers of his and Bill Paxton's hands. That movie came out in 1986. There's a similar scene in the Hong Kong movie The Private Eyes which came out in 1976.

I feel like I've seen it in a movie or tv show prior to 1976, but I can't think of it. Anybody know?
