Polling must be absolutely fucking dire in the Labor party if they're willing to come out and ban something so obviously unfair and universally hated for the benefit of all Australians.
I get nervous when new laws get bipartisan applause, because it usually means the government has just introduced a new method of putting you in prison for doing or saying something which was perfectly legal yesterday, or signed some defence or trade agreement that somehow also results in a gorillion more indians arriving.
