That’s some serious pro-gamer shit

@beardalaxy @matrix unless your goal is to maximize comedy. Then it’s definitely the right decision.

I have a totally unoptimized DPS build going in The Division 2 now. My damage output is about half what I need it to be for a really optimal build, but 3x what it was a few days ago, so I’m happy with the progress.

One of the things I really like is that this build absolutely shreds in Challenging difficulty… right up until I make a mistake and I get super punished and die.

So clearly the answer is to git gud and don’t make mistakes. I’m learning to be more mobile, even more about positioning, when to use the shield and when to run for cover.

Tons of fun.

A friend making homemade pretzels commented how a tablespoon of lye into a gallon of water was really dangerous. This was in close proximity to when my wife and I made our latest batch of soap which uses almost a pound of lye in a little under a liter of water.

@beardalaxy so if I had to pick just one pizza topping setup forever it’d be sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and black olive.

But I really like having Hawaiian mixed in or bacon, pineapple, and red onion. I’ll have to try pepperoni and pineapple now.

Then there was this place that did a loaded baked potato pizza. Thin sliced potato, green onions, bacon, cheddar, and the gave you a little tube of sour cream. That was a great pizza.

@WolfJay oh yes, the game is very Kojima. The main characters are just as weird as the rest of the story. So if you like Kojima’s storytelling, this is really it.

@WolfJay There *are* a lot of cutscenes. And the gameplay is pretty much what you've seen. Navigating rough terrain, path finding, managing loads, some stealth, a little light combat every once in a while. There's a whole reason why you don't want to kill people. It's a strange world.

@WolfJay The bridge baby is actually a pretty interesting part of a very weird story and plays as a foil to the main protagonist trying to stay disconnected from the whole world.

@WolfJay Death Stranding is one of those polarizing games. It’s huge stretches of pure mood. Soaking in the landscape and the feeling of distance traversal, broken up by weirdo Kojima storytelling.

I rate it one of my top 10 games, but you have to want that experience. Cresting over a hill after a fucking horror fest of passing through a terrible traversal section and seeing god-rays over the city you’ve been trying to reach. All while a new awesome song you haven’t heard spins up? Pretty great.

It helps to think of it like a traversal puzzle, but it is sometimes (purposefully) a slog.

10 miles on the Airdyne because it’s raining today. I really prefer running.

I recently got back into The Division 2 after dropping off before they even had seasonal content. Played the expansion and then tried the seasonal Manhunt. That shit was hard. I had to put together a whole new build and really scramble to get through the Challenging level bounties.

Good content. Good job, Massive, I’m really happy with where you steered the game. I regret giving my time to destiny 2 instead of your game.
