Some people don't seem to understand that not respecting other people's sensitivity to content that is not suitable for work/family environments is detrimental to the Fedi as a whole, because it only adds to the ever growing fragmentation of it.
I just had to remove in my instance the account of other instance's user. Whenever I comply to the instance administrators I usually get shat on by them reading me laws, terms of use and whatever legalistic bullshit that, according to them, allows them to not do anything with users that don't respect the NSFW flag.
What I'm supposed to do? Keep blocking users and instances until there is no federation left at all?
Let's work together, guys. Please respect the NSFW tag.
@mystik Long time ago i implemented a feature on #DashFE (a personal FE for pleroma/mastodon) where you can mark an user as NSFW and have all their posts flagged as such. I thought it was a good idea and gave the user more control of their experience
@hideki That's a feature too, on Pleroma, but once the message is out, it's out, the damage is done, that's reactive moderation, rather than proactive.
