The anime is insuperable, but for some reason i like a lot the design of the characters on the manga.

@hideki I've been rewatching it lately, as something easygoing and tame to watch with family over post-dinner tea.
@nerthos yeah it's comfy but also crazy, but not so crazy but also with a lot of comedy but not in a silly way, it's just perfect
@hideki Yep. I've had to explain to my mother some of the more context-sensitive jokes but overall it's really good. Full of unexpected jokes and twists while remaining consistent and not changing the expectation of what the next episode will be like.
Also laughed at some jokes that I didn't get when I watched it in highschool, like when Tomo and Osaka discuss breasts and call someone "hawaiian", as back then I had no idea where hawaii was geographically in relation to japan and america.
