A lot of things piss me off, but seeing solar panels on houses makes me smile.

@Shiroyasha assuming that the house still is plugged to the grid what are they mostly used for?
@hideki I'd assume they are serous kits that can actually backfeed into the grid. But prolly air conditioners eat more power than they generate most cases around here. In the winter the output is probably negligible.
@hideki I just always get pissed when I see cheap crap and decorations with a solar panel and think those materials could have been used for a useful panel to actually help us with energy issues. Driving by cemeteries at night I just shake my head in disgust at all the solar lights by the tombstones.
@Shiroyasha @hideki Ah photovoltaics. Synchronous backfeed is marred by the unreliability of the power grid during summer. And off-grid systems with their battery banks may be too much of a recurring monetary burden :/
