@hideki i could imagine mangaka using blender now or in the future as a reference for difficult accurate perspectives on characters on which they base their 2D drawings on... (Similar to how you argued AI generated manga can be an inspiration for "real" manga)
@matrixsasuke probably it happens now and before, thanks to software like koikatsu and poser too
@hideki the 3D character would also be ready to use for video games. I think in the Naruto ninja storm video games characters look similar...
