@Loki the beanie looks good
@Loki Were you not ENTERTAINED!!!?????
@INSTALLGENTOO yeah no worres, if i can at least offer help or useful advice (and isn't about character creation/modeling, because i still haven't touched that part of the modeling workflow yet) you can.
@INSTALLGENTOO And nope i don't take commisions yet haha, i am myself still learning how to do stuff so i don't want to risk making stuff for someone only to find that i made pure crap!
@INSTALLGENTOO A lot of artists feel stabbed in the back by this technology, because after all and in most cases it was made possible by training it on art available from the internet and that was scrapped from a lot of places like artstation, deviantart and the likes. And then the machine was put in the hands of incapables who started overruning their spaces and pretending to be someone who they arent. Then of course, this made artist having problems with discoverability and to reach more audiences that wouldn't get past from the layers of AI generated images.
Probably the thing going on at Artstation is a bit of an overreaction by the community but i understand the overall feeling of the matter. I'm not sure if there can be a shift in the perception of this technology if isn't with a change of mentality also of the people that uses it.
A lot of people making snark remarks on twitter about how it's funny that artists are salty and that they should accept that the technology changed art forever, they themselves didn't had any idea or interest about digital art three months ago, let alone that they can make something by themselves by hand without the help af an AI.
I am personally not against this technology at all, but i also understand the feeling of artists 100% and it will take a bit ofa mentality change from both sides before we can start enjoying it without problems.
