@siinclaiir@neckbeard.xyz yeah you use the original image as texture for the model, and the missing parts can be painted onto or you just re-arrange the UV's OR handpaint the model, anything works.

@Darks afaik it should have recognized it as part of the model but i guess it got misrecognized by the algorythm

You could think "Why don't just put there an image with alpha transparency?" but the thing is that, being a 3D model it's animat-able (to some extent), can be placed in different angles AND interacts better with enviroment lighting

@siinclaiir@neckbeard.xyz you can combine it with this and have crowds moving with 0 money involved youtube.com/watch?v=icqLFiwpNl

@siinclaiir@neckbeard.xyz also i haven't tried to see if it can recognize more than one person per photo

@siinclaiir@neckbeard.xyz doubt it but haven't tried it yet. I guess it's pre trained to recognize humans from photos as it could be Facebook's primarly interest.

It's 2021 and it's wild that video game """(((Journos)))""" are still like this

There's this tool developed by Facebook that turns photos of people on 3D models
It is good enough to add background people for blender scenes.
