W. K. Haselden’s ‘The Pocket Telephone: When Will it Ring?’ was first published in The Mirror on March 1919

This is my latest composition: "Unknow", for piano, bass, contrabass, electronic drums, and oud. It is dedicated to the homonym character by Magnus (Roberto Raviola), that you may find in this video.

"Unknow" is part of my "imaginary soundtracks" -- soundtracks for movies, or cartoons, which actually... do not exist (yet). Here I try to represent the strain of a life in perennial flight from the perils of the present and the horror of the past.
The "fugato" in the piece corresponds to this flight -- this fugue state, if you allow me the pun.
