This AI image generator stuff and their connotations and consquences are the most cyberpunk thing to happen since deepfakes, not because it's reach, but because it also has potential to actually affect society in certain way.
in japan the complaints about the use of AI temporarily suspended the opening service of said software, if the mangakas complained because they consider that the AI steals their original work to give ability to the useless.

There's a war going on in the field of AI image generators. Looks like "OPEN"AI Dall-E wen't diva mode and started being too troublesome to work with, then StableDiffusion opened their code and pulled the rug under their feet, now Dall-E is having problems to stay afloat.
