@keisuke at least you can just buy a new charger. My entire laptop could fail any day now xD
@beardalaxy the one that you resseted the bios?
@keisuke yes. Basically I think it is a problem with the disc drive hardware because if I push on it in a certain way the laptop will turn on. Otherwise it hangs before getting to bios.
@beardalaxy maybe all can be solved by using some hot air gun on the components, sometimes components desolder out of excessive heat
@keisuke as long as it supports the same power draw and uses the same connector, you're good
I have here a charger of a Lenovo laptop that maybe my laptop can use it. Mine's Compaq but still.
