@locarnta Yeah the SA was very gay. One of the reasons people like Himmler hated it. The nazis were at the end of the day anti-homo, and there were more pro-homo views early on. The pro-homo views being strongest in the SA (many being homosexuals themself). @SuzyCreamcheese Yeah, and iirc the Röhm purge happened because the SA was getting "scary." A lot of the SA dealings are best summed up as "there's no heterosexual explanation for that."
