Collectivism and authoritarianism are the ideologies of the left. They cannot leave the left. They're the foundation, just like individualism is to the right, because economic and personal freedoms are the same thing.
Those are the ideological extremes.
Choose one and moderate towards it.

@matrix Hmm, but isnât the debate more about freedom or not freedom? Some people argue that collectivism is good even if it is forced, some people do not have problem with colectivism even if it is required by the most hardcore cultural norms, if there is still the possibility to opt-out. (And I thing traditional right-left spectrum doesnt work there)
