Why did suddenly so many instances disappear from https://joinmastodon.org?
@Gargron @TheKinrar I picked only 4 categories for my instance. Is it just 1 category per instance?
@matrix @TheKinrar If you don't have a focus on your server, it's general-purpose. It's only "art" or "gaming" if it's themed around it. So yes.
@matrix @TheKinrar cleaned up categories, so instances that picked all categories to appear in have been recategorized as "general"
