I just found out that Google Photos compresses videos, turning my low quality drone footage into an unwatchable mess. Looks like I need to move it to my computer manually.

Google Photos recompresses both photos and videos when using the "Unlimited storage" option. If you don't want that, use the "Original quality" upload option (which is not unlimited) and delete the files once you download them to the PC, or recompress all of them afterwards.
