@djabadu @grips It puts incoming and local media together. Even if it didn't I wouldn't see them on my instance if deleted them.
Once I can't afford storage I'm just gonna purge old media. 2GB a day is fine. At constant 2GB a day it's gonna take a few years before I won't be able to afford it.

@matrix couldn't you compress the media that's over a certain file size and age? There's really no way of filtering local users' media? eek

Well I can afford 10TB of storage and I can get up to 80TB so it's a problem for the future me.
