@sjw@neckbeard.xyz @orekix @karolat Pleroma is great, better thought out and threads are more organized, but I think that Mastodon is more user friendly and more like Twitter.
For example:
Mastodon stores all media which increases server cost, but it makes it so that I can look at artists from Pawoo I follow without waiting forever for images to load. (connection from Europe to Japan is abysmal)
Storing raw files is easier on CPU and RAM, but not on storage, connection and it decrease compatibility.
