@matrix I don't even see how valve is pro-consumer when they sacrificed quality control and then the integrities of their own game series to make a cheap buck or a billion

@waifu They took a pro-consumer stance by barely moderating user reviews (Epic doesn't even have them) and by allowing all games on Steam and allowing the market to decide (on which they back paddled). However, stores with a DRM like Steam can never be truly pro-consumer. Buy games on GOG.

@matrix I don't see how it's pro-consumer to tolerate people getting ripped off by all the bad games/non-games

That's why refund policies and barely moderated user reviews are important and Steam has that.
