@xeno @roko @matrix only real criticism here is that salon visits don't need to be monthly at all unless you're like getting your nails professionally done and shit. you can do a lot of that sort of stuff at home, but you really should go to the salon like once every quarter (3 months) and keep your hair trimmed and styled properly

depends on how high maintenance you are/ your hair style is. Color absolutely needs to be touched up at a month and some people have really wicked growth patterns. I go to the barber every 3 weeks ideally.

@roko @matrix @xeno i guess every 2 months is reasonable if i want to maintain length and not have my bangs grow the fuck over my face, now that i think about it. i really should go get a haircut Soonâ¢. i used to have dangerhair colors for a time but that got tedious fast bc the only way i'd get a good dye job is if i got it done professionally since i HAVE to have my (medium-dark brown) hair bleached first. it was kinda cool to look at at the time but goddamn if i have the time or patience for it again. at this point i just want shoulder-length with straight cut bangs until i get bored and decide to do something else again, but at least i have a style i can live with and a length that i can keep clean without it turning into a greasy hellpit in <24 hours.

Cheap, no mess, they don't irritate sensitive skin, and they're not really parfume'd
