Anyone here a Mastodon admin with access to logs?
@jeff @matrix
Can one of you paste this url: https://kodachrome.club/objects/777c4cdc-c98e-4cd3-b3d8-5e2ce9478261

into their searchbar, try to fetch it and see if it throws any kind of error in the logs? I wanna investigate why Mastodon does not like my objects, and I have no admin access to any Mastodon instance
@matrix @jeff I see, thanks to both of you though. Gonna check their source code out now.

Mastodon does not accept Litepub objects. You must attach a JSON-LD @context to it.

@kaniini I appended a context to https://kodachrome.club/objects/f52c3555-8a45-4b54-b715-a1501a336ee6, but I can't fetch it either with Mastodon. Something else must be missing too.

@foxhkron sorry to jump in, but you return content-type application/json instead of activity+josn or ld+json.
@tedu Huh? I only return the JSON data if the client specifies a application/ld+json or application/activity+json content-type in the header

@kaniini
@tedu @foxhkron that doesn't matter so much. i think he is missing something from his actors.
@kaniini see "elsif ['application/activity+json', 'application/ld+json'].include?(response.mime_type)" in mastodon/app/services/fetch_atom_service.rb

I think you're not going in there.
@kaniini @foxhkron @tedu

outbox, followers, and following are returning html (errors). I think masto probes and uses these endpoints to build the profile badge. It might be OK if they don't exist, but I'm guessing that sending html to a json parser could be throwing an exception someplace.
@macgirvin @foxhkron @tedu

nah those are soft failures, it was actually content-type that was the problem
