@ChristiJunior @matrix I used to chat with a Romanian girl 10 years ago or so. I had no idea where Romania was, but we have this immediate association with gypsies over here. One time she told me her friend had been stabbed by gypsies. Don't remember if she died or not. Haven't talked to her since forever; but that wasn't the best interaction to disprove a negative stereotype.

@rasterman @matrix Yeah, that's another reason why Romanians hate gypsies so much, and especially despise the term "Roma", which has no other purpose than to deliberately confuse the two.
The gypsies do however usually call themselves Romanian (or Bulgarian, or Serbian etc) when begging for money in Western Europe (they almost never come to, you know, WORK), but quickly shape-shift into "Roma" when they can shit on their countries of birth, play the Victim and blame "racists" for them supposedly being denied education and work (never mind that these "people" purposely pull their children out of school to have them beg on the streets).
Their so-called culture is an abomination and should be aggressively targeted for destruction. Removal of the children from non-assimilated gypsy parents, followed by forced sterilization of said parents would do a great deal of good.
