at some point we need to talk about the growing number of 4chan nazis that have been on fedi for a while. they've been here the whole time, and gab is going to be just a new iteration and growth in their numbers.

most of us don't see them because they are the instances that get blocked when an instance first starts, but that corner of the fediverse is still rolling along. mobile apps still service those folks. i don't think just sticking our collective heads in the sand is good solution
