@ChristiJunior @comfy @matrix The left knows that intolerance is about the most popular concept it is possible to have. What a nightmare life would be if you could not EXCLUDE that which irritates you.
If I a party ran on a platform of kick all Muslims out and all infrastructure access was guaranteed - including broadcast access - that party would rule Europe in short order.
From there the exclusion of all third world immigration would be a short hop.
This would not necessarily end in fascism, that has variable popularity. It is a non-starter in the US, a very individualist society. But no longer would demented malformed men be able to dictate their unreal pronouns to a terrorized middle class.

It's a little bit different in the USA and perhaps other so-called democracies.
It is true that the government cannot arrest you for what you say, but they make sure you do not have privacy when you say it.
They take note of what you say and get revenge in other ways.
True free speech must also include anonymity, which we do not have and which all governments will fight against.
