@inditoot
Currently 1TB, but I can have up to 8 10TB "drives" connected to it.
@snder

@matrix @snder

Which provider you are using and how much your server cost and cost of those additional drives?

@inditoot
BuyVM. It's $5 for 1TB, but they currently have everything out of stock.
@snder

@matrix @snder

Hmm still dedicated seems more cheap plus additional drives are much cheaper here

@inditoot
That does look much more cheaper. You should probably get a server closer to India so that the ping isn't horrendous.
@snder

@matrix @snder

If we get more people it gonna be much cheaper that is why I asked, my server in Germany and everything seems fine and I will add page rule in cloud flare which will cache everything so things will load much faster and less work server has to do.

@inditoot
Oh. Maybe the traffic from Europe to India does not go through US like it does to Japan.
The dedicated server looks pretty decent though.
@snder

@matrix You live in Japan? ð¯ðµ Hmm weird why it will route traffic through US for Japan when Europe is Near although cloud flare server from nearest location so it will Singapore for you and me.

Cloudf has server in India but they suck so they end up serving from Singapore

@snder

@inditoot
I'm from Europe. I just did some testing and was a bit surprised that it goes through the US.
Probably because of there isn't enough infrastructure in Russia, Middle East and Asia to route it through there.
@snder

@matrix @snder

There is infrastructure but somehow in Asia they target local area not global that is why You can only get Singapore server, very few providers for India and nearby countries.

Although it has do something with company as I seen many companies owned by single group specially shared

@matrix @snder

I have to move media files so I and sander thinking to get a dedicated server, if your provider is cheap enough we can get a account there and run a storage server together.

@inditoot
You can host Minio on it, but like I said they're out of stock and currently the only place they offer the storage in is Las Vegas.
@snder
