My own account did that too, but now it works.
It's the search that's broken, to hell and back.
Export your "following" list, add the user, then import it back.
Should work.

@mwvdragon @matrix You will only see things posted after you followed an account, that's a Fedi thing, by design.
The real problem is that some images aren't showing up **after** I followed an account.
