Only thing that didn't quite go right is that I wasn't able to plug in all my hard drives because my PSU only has one sata power cable and I wasn't able to get it to reach the SSD and both the HDDs

So I'll just have to get one of the molex to sata adapters

@karen
Don't blow up something. Molex is able to deliver much more power than SATA power cable.

@karen
SSDs don't draw that much power, so that might work.

Wikipedia says this so I don't know: "Passive adapters are available that convert a four-pin Molex connector to a SATA power connector, providing the 5 V and 12 V lines available on the Molex connector, but not 3.3 V. There are also four-pin Molex-to-SATA power adapters that include electronics to additionally provide the 3.3 V power supply.[46] However, most drives do not require the 3.3 V power line."
