i donʼt understand how you can work in tech and NOT be a postmodernist,
other fields: sure, roll with that materialist perspective, whatever
software tech: literally everything is literally just words. everything you build. everything you use. words,
tech people: language does not structure how you think or what you can conceive in any way and that is why i should not make any effort to rid my vocabulary of sexism or ableism
also tech people: and this is why C++ is better than JavaScript
How you can get a degree writing all day without taking a single humanities course i will never understand

Those words aren't just words, each and everyone of them has a very specific meaning and does a specific thing, physically. That's one of the first things you are supposed to learn when studying for a degree.
