@uwy@niu.moe
Communism is inherently totalitarian and has killed more people than the Nazis just fyi.

I'm not defending censorship of communist symbol btw.

re: EU ban on communist symbols

@matrix @uwy communism isn't inherently totalitarian, the problem is mostly the absurd bureaucracies put in place in most communist states which make it easier than ever for dictators to do dictator things

An ideology that doesn't recognize a basic human right is inherently totalitarian and it's irrelevant if it's enforced by mob rule or a dictator.

re: EU ban on communist symbols

@matrix @uwy assuming by basic human right you mean property, the goal is not to elimiante property but to make wealth distribution relatively even. of course property is necessary.

re: EU ban on communist symbols

@matrix @uwy or rather, the goal is to eliminate the /need/ for property, not property itself

re: EU ban on communist symbols

@tuxcrafting @uwy@niu.moe And because humans aren't equal therefore don't produce the equal outcomes therefore acquire wealth unequally. The only way to fix that and make it more even is with force thus violating property rights.

re: EU ban on communist symbols

@matrix @uwy i'm not sure what you're going on about
@tuxcrafting @matrix @uwy

every implementation has been totalitarian, it might very well be that it was Real Communism⢠in action, you have to kill every non-believer, infidels get the rope

it really is the most militant religion
