We wish it was as easy to sort fedi culture by fedi software as both sides make it out to be but it really ain't. It would make filtering easier.

Nazis use Mastodon. Socialist softies use Pleroma. Sure a major demographic of Mastodon are the socialist left and a major demographic of Pleroma is channer trash. But these two groups aren't even the majorities on their platforms (though they both really like to think they are).

We have more Mastodon instances blocked at mst3k than Pleroma, though we have plenty of Pleroma instances blocked. That's just because Mastodon has more exposure. But don't pretend you are more righteous because you use one fedi software over another or that your choice represents your morals. It doesn't.
