I got to the first epilogue in Red Dead Redemption 2 and I'm stuck. Nothing happens when I arrive in Strawberry. John and his family don't acknowledge it.
Looks like a rare bug.

I fixed it. Looks like it didn't register a checkpoint along the way to Strawberry, so by failing several times, the game offers you to skip to the next checkpoint which moves you slightly further along the way to Strawberry and allows you to arrive there.

Exit the game and retry. If it persists, you might have a case for an email to Rockstar. They can't expect you to start over a gargantuan game like that.
