Remember that thread I posted a while back about how DID isn't a quirky personality trait, and how it's a medical condition that requires treatment?

This dude is why I posted that thread. There's large parts of the fediverse where people will celebrate you for playing or or pretending to have DID. That's some enterprise-grade levels of fucked up, and these people aren't getting the help they need.

Apparently these days we "tolerate" and "accept" people with multiple personality disorder and we "confirm" their distinct personalities.

They in themselves don't piss me off. I kinda laugh at the situation. But I also find it extremely tragic, especially after I realized this thing was inevitable once the trans activism went overboard and demanded the condition not be called a mental disorder.
And this trend will spread to other stuff, all in the name of spreading "inclusion", "tolerance" and "acceptance"; and fighting "segregation", "stigma" and "discrimination".

The goal of therapy for DID is for all personalities to appear as the same person. This hasn't fucking changed.

That's the very worst part. You got people like dude here talking about oppressed this and marginalized that, while shitting on people with real mental disorders.

I don't see how someone is so oppressed if they can just take a shower and magically be normal again.

Then the whole, "I'm wearing knee high socks, let me into the women's change room, or your transphobic!"

It's all so absurd. These aren't trans people. And I'm not a prude here or anything, people should do whatever they like, but these aren't trans people. They are crossdressers or just gender non conforming. Which is fine, but those don't make you trans. It's gotten to the point that actual transsexuals like myself are removed from most of the trans spaces for refusing to toe the party line.

The girl in my life took nearly a decade to go from occasional crossdressing to starting HRT.

It's a difficult process, it takes time, and most of it is learning things about yourself that nobody can teach you.

I think it's important to draw a line between trolls (like Yaniv) and people legitimately still figuring themselves out.
